New Orleans Fishing Report November 2025

The Redfish spawn in on! We have been catching most of our slot reds in the 18" to 27" range in the marsh, shallow mud flats, and ponds. We have also been catching a lot of big bull reds in the 35" to 45" range as well on rock jetties and shallow water rigs and platforms. Live shrimp in the marsh under popping cork have been producing the limits of slot reds. Working bottom with plastics and live shrimp have been producing those monster bull reds with some exceeding 50". Along with the stellar redfish bite, we have also been catching big sheepshead along with nice sized speckled trout in the 15" to 20" range working Marker 54 plastic shrimp under popping cork along with Carolina rig live shrimp and matrix shad. The fall fishing has been phenomenal and looks like December is going to be on point as well. Don't let the cooler temps keep you indoors this fall and winter.
